No — anyone can book an appointment, whether or not you are registered with a NHS GP.

We usually offer same-day or next-day appointments. You can book online, by phone or in person. You can make specific non urgent requests by emailing us on thegnhealth@gmail.com.

Standard GP appointments are 15 minutes, giving you time to discuss your concerns in detail. 30 minute and longer appointments are available on request.

Our fees are transparent with no hidden charges.

Payment can be made by card or online at the time of booking or after your appointment.

Receipts can be provided for reimbursement or insurance claims.

Yes. Our GPs can issue private prescriptions, which can be dispensed at most pharmacies.

Please note: private prescriptions are not covered by the NHS, and pharmacy charges may vary.

We only share information with your NHS GP with you consent.

There are some circumstances where we encourage you to share the information with your own GP practice .

Please see our prescribing principles to see situations where we may not be able to prescribe of high risk medications without sharing that information with your own GP practice or can only prescribe for a short duration. This is for your own safety.

Your privacy is our priority, and all records are handled confidentially in line with GDPR.

A full range of blood tests and other laboratory tests are available. We also offer other investigations such as ECGs, 24 hour ECG, and 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. If X rays or scans are required we can organise these at your choice of private provider or our recommended providers.

All investigations which you may require during or after your appointment are not included in the cost of your appointment.

Before any such tests, the GP will explain why these tests are recommended and their costs.

Yes. We can refer you quickly to private specialists, imaging (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound), or diagnostic tests as needed — often with minimal waiting times.

In case of any alarm symptoms and limited circumstances, we can refer you to NHS hospital for investigations. We are able to admit you to NHS hospitals if it is clinically necessary.

If a prescription is required, our GPs provide a private prescription. There is no additional charge for a prescription that is issued within a GP consultation. A private prescription can be taken to any pharmacy, or we can email and post it to a pharmacy for you. The chemist will charge a discretionary dispensing fee, (usually in the region of £5), along with the cost of the medication. Please see our prescribing principles.

Yes. You can either park off street just outside the clinic on Dean Street or in the multi storey car park opposite the clinic.

Our clinic is accessible by public transport.

Absolutely. Our experienced GPs are skilled in managing both acute and chronic health conditions and will explain the process and the pathway.

They are supported by a team of nursing and other staff.

Yes, just like your own GP practice or walk-in centres, we offer urgent appointments with our own GPs and nurses etc.

• Chest Pain or Symptoms of 'Heart Attack'

• Symptoms of Stroke

• Heavy Bleeding

Seeing one of our doctors does NOT affect your registration at your NHS practice.

We recommend that patients maintain their registration with NHS services.

We offer clinic appointments in person, telephone and video consultations.

We do not provide home visits as it is outside the remit of our license.
